Our Impact so far…

Over the last year we have been listening to students, teachers, and family members to identify problems within our capacity to solve. Here are some of the initiatives we plan to launch with the funds we have raised through grants and donations so far:

These initiatives only scratch the surface of what is possible as we build capacity to address needs in schools throughout our district. For example, funding raised by the Pacifica Education Foundation helps provide more music teachers in every elementary school starting in third grade. The San Bruno Education Foundation funds after school enrichment programs. The San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation helps update school science labs and equipment. The San Francisco Education Fund provides individualized academic support to the students who need it most. Likewise, the South San Francisco Education Foundation provides the opportunity to invest in all SSFUSD schools, ensuring a quality education for your child–and for all students–from transitional kindergarten through senior year.

Diversity is our strength, including our community’s different income levels, backgrounds, and life experiences. Every gift from a SSFUSD family makes a difference. Whether you can give a small amount or a large amount, we will put every dollar to good use to make a meaningful impact. Whatever you can give adds to our movement’s momentum.
